HOW DO I PRICE MY ART
As an artist and someone who wants to be able to make money and make a living doing art, I want to be able to do commissions to make money.
How I price my art depends on multiple things. One of these being how long it usually takes for me to complete the drawing. I charge 7 dollars an hour as my base, which is around the minimum wage for the United States. Things that may increase the price are doing more characters, harder backgrounds that may take more time, and how I color and shade the piece, and multiply the price by 5% due to PayPal tax. This means that if I do a simple background, full shaded, full-body piece, the price would be 15.38$ for an hour and a half's work. Of course, prices can be negotiated a bit, depending on the circumstance.
For game icons, thumbnails, and other things, it depends mostly on what exactly is needed. While I do not have a firm price on my art, depending on what you want, the price will increase. Again from earlier, adding multiple characters, good shading, and more detailed backgrounds is going to cost more because of how long it will take.
Simply just communicate with me what you want to be done and the specifics and I will set a price depending on how long it will take me.
